Bunny has always had a passion for dressing up and all things vintage!
A love of old Hollywood movies and many an outing to National Trust properties as a child led her to a desire to create period hats for the stage and screen.
Having trained in both fashion and costume at college (most notably learning from renowned theatrical hatter Jane Smith), she went on to work as a wardrobe mistress for P&O Cruises. It was here that she honed her skills in making hats for the shows.
As the years progressed, she encouraged costume designers and supervisors to use her hats in the shows she was working on and so her reputation grew. As a theatrical milliner, she has made for all kinds of shows including 'Pal Joey' Chichester Festival Theatre, 'My One and Only' Piccadilly Theatre, 'Semi Monde' Lyric Shaftsbury Avenue and 'Inphegia at Aulis' at the National Theatre. On film, you can see her work for Diane Kruger in 'Joyeux Noel' and in horror 'The Sickhouse.'
Through her theatrical work, Bunny also attracted a number of private clients - including Issy van Randwyk and Dame Dorothy Tutin (see gallery and press section).
Bunny works from her studio in Dorset.
